My day so far (I hope you all are having an equally wonderful day)

1) Drove to Boise, donated platelets at the Red Cross donation center. I was given a pair of green Red Cross/"Elf" (the movie) Christmas socks.
2) It takes about two hours to donate platelets, so they have private video screens for each bed and Netflix. I watched the first two episodes of All The Light We Cannot See
3) I decided to go to Chilis and try their Ancho Salmon and Street Roasted Corn
4) I had some time before the opera so I next went to Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial. It was my first time there. As wikipedia says, it "is the only human rights memorial in the U.S."
5) I next went to the main branch of the Boise Public Library, also my first time there. We have seven and a half employees. Boise Public has 128 employees. I wandered around gawking like a hayseed.
6) I went to Opera Idaho's production of The Falling And The Rising. It is an English language opera about a female American soldier who is in a coma from an IED. It was perfect for Veteran's Day. It brought tears to the corners of my eyes.
7) I get home and find out that the Seahawks have won and David is a Jake Bobo fan.
8) I finished the Sunday puzzle :)
