I also think we can't discount that the quality hasn't been there since Endgame, for the most part. It is subjective, of course. But...

Most measures put most of the recent films at the bottom, be it by RT score or Cinemascore.
At some point, the bill for that arrives.
So, yes, slowing down and ensuring the product regains its quality and sense of novelty may be the way to go moving forward.
