and by comics history, like when the books were released* A point in time were comics fans were on the verge of revolt of c'mon, another stupid cross over event that won't even mean anything? And to fully grasp the 12 issue limited series, I have to read:
Hero A: Issues 133, 134, 136
Hero B: Issues 345, 348-351
Hero C: Issues 0,1,2 (cause we're using this event to launch this book)
Hero D: Issue 777-791, oh wait, not 783 cause that one was stand alone
Hero E: Issue 56
Hero F: well, actually it'd be nice if you were familiar with 831 but that's only cause there's a panel where they were kidnapped / grabbed / transported / whatever to the venue / location / setting of the limited series
and then here were the smug DC fans who were like well, Crisis totally reset all of the bananas Silver / Gold age multiple versions of characters stuff but that's a whole fan war definitely left back in the 90's
*I might be exaggerating a bit on how far back these books were released or how recently MDH was born
