Yeah a bit. in 2015 they closed down the Ultimate Universe but there was a HUGELY popular character there (Miles Morales)

that they wanted to save and bring into the main Marvel Comics Universe.

They also cleaned up some alternate universes that they wanted to be done with.

But then at the end of the 2015 Secret Wars after Miles gave Molecule Man a hamburger that had been in his pocket for a month, Molecule Man restarted the multiverse and Reed and his family guided the reconstruction of it....

yes I know that last paragraph is crazy. but it was a really touching moment
