Ahh but in the NFL's case, the Europe games are for the European fans as the NFL attempts to expand to a global fan base

Plus they're pretty confidant that there's enough die hard NFL fans will get up early
F1 is the opposite. The American fan base is nice to have. Ooooo...look at the cute, late to the sport fans attracted by a Netflix series but it's a small, relatively broke fanbase compared to the well established international fan base
