It is a war crime to use ambulances to transport soldiers. It is also a war crime to target ambulances. As an example.
The answer, if you want to claim any moral high ground at all, is to accept that you need to forego some military actions because you value civilian Palestinian lives even if Hamas doesn't. Read "you" in this context as the impersonal you.
It currently appears that if Israel has any concern for Palestinian civilian lives, it's barely above the concern they have for Hamas lives.
Aid and corridors are only as effective as the ability of people to use them and corridors from one active war zone to another, or to a closed border aren't of use.
