Doesn't matter where they started. They built a loyal fanbase over decades in Oakland. Their owner negotiated in bad faith the whole time.

Oakland got fucked like Seattle with the Supersonics.
If MLB wanted to go to Vegas so badly, they should have given them a new franchise and not let an owner steal a team from another city.
