Some additional costs to consider

I'm going to preface this by saying that I think you should get the r6mk2 + 24-70mm f/2.8 L. If you can't swing that right now, get the 24-105mm f/4 L, but recognize that you're just using it for a year until you buy the lenses that will replace it. Bite the bullet and buy the better lens now.

With all of that said, keep in mind these other potential "hidden" costs:
1) Do you use flash? These bodies no longer have a pop-up flash, so you'll need a remote trigger
2) Memory cards -- Your current camera probably uses a different card format. If you're like me, you'll want more than one card.
3) Storage -- These cameras produce huge files. My R5 files are about 65 MB each. My photos from last year totaled almost 300 GB.
