He did have the highest difference between FIP and ERA in the majors this past year. His barrel rate of 2.7% is just extraordinary.

I honestly don't understand how a pitcher with a 58% groundball ratio and 12 strikeouts per nine innings can have an ERA that high. It borders on incomprehensible.
