In my probably unpopular opinion, I think the same thing that makes AEW great is its biggest weakness. When every match is trying to be a five star

match, it gets kind of boring. When everything is special, nothing is. When you have a destroyer or reverse huracanrana in every match, it makes it less special. When people bleed in every show (sometimes in multiple matches in a show) the stakes just lower. I can't watch Moxley's matches any more. They're just boring. Everybody bleeds, every time. When the mid-carders push the headliners to the limit and kick out finishers, it blurs lines too much among wrestlers. I love that these guys are in high gear every match and I'm sure that's why they love it, but it also leaves it with a feeling that you're not seeing something more special in the biggest matches. And for live shows in particular, people need a chance here and there to catch their breath, go to the bathroom, get some food, etc. I know that does a disservice to some quality wrestlers sometimes, but the flow of the show needs it.
