Looking at highlights of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, 90% of the camera shots leave the track looking like it could be anywhere in the world.

Cars appear to be running through a steel lined corridor; the steel barriers looming over the road. It’s only very sporadically that you see a tall building in the night sky and the viewer thinks, oh that must be a hotel, I wonder what it’s called.
This seems like a missed opportunity.
Las Vegas is the star of the show here, and should be accorded more of the camera shots in tandem with showing the cars racing. Most viewers of the Tour de France aren’t watching to see lads cycling around on their bicycles. They’re viewing it to see the French countryside and scenery.
