I brought home a fallen orange from Stanley Ranch. The kits are fascinated. It's barely ripe I wonder if squirrels were involved ? -- nm

a fair number of mine fall off when they're still a bit green. I'd go wind before fauna. -- nm

We have a huge crop this year so I wouldn't be surprised by natural culling. The squirrels (and crows) are still busy with the walnut tree. -- nm

I was trying to think of an Aussie equivalent but all I could come up with were birds or lizards :) I guess maybe Koalas on the east coast. -- nm

I'd say the ibis is the raccoon equivalent. maybe possums? but they're not as ubiquitous. I have quendas around my house, but they don't climb. -- nm
