realized when I got home that my work has donation matching.

emailed shelter asking for donation receipt so I could get it matched. they emailed credit card receipt.

me: sorry I was unclear. I am looking for a copy of the donation form I filled out. the credit card receipt indicates "SALE."
they email credit card receipt again.
me: sorry I was unclear. I am looking for a copy of the 8.5 x 11 form I completed that has my name and your name and states that you're a 501c3? it has a cat and a dog at the top right?
they email a copy of their 501c3 letter.

I give up, right? I tried hard enough?
