so much depends on individuals. I know some people who’ve had good experiences, but so many others not.

I had a very bad experience with one and went along with a SIL to another.
my experience was after a car accident (not my big one), my primary care doctor wasn’t opposed to seeing what a chiro recommended by one of my brothers could do. it was bad all around - massive bruising from my first treatment, did a scammy x-ray read (he didn’t know I knew about imaging), tried the package thing. I stuck with PT.
the SIL experience was wild - pre-Internet as we know it, a guy up in oakland who was big on special supplements, including for kids, who couldn’t answer my super basic questions about how they worked/promised benefits. they included things like heart supplements made from cow hearts, as if there’s a direct connection, digestion doesn’t play into things, and overpaying vs. a healthy diet and regular supplements is somehow worthy.
scammy comes around again, because I’ve recently seen products like that being hyped on social media. ugh. (and we now know there’s risk of BSE from some of the organ products, for extra woowoo problematicness.)
