think I might love this thing as well as I've opened up and fell into a endless rat hole.
Out of the box, it came with key caps with Mac keys so before I even typed anything, I got to find out the joys of the key cap puller. That's not sarcasm. The included key cap puller made the Lego building little kid in me squee with joy as to how well it worked. It was only four caps to be changed so it was still fun by the time I made the changes.
I noticed that the way that I rest my hands inadvertently activates one of the Window keys but a quick trip to an open source website (no installed software!) and I was able to not just assign three macros to the PS type keys above the numeric key pad (circle triangle square X) but I was able to reassign the pesky windows key to nothing. Odds are I'm still occasionally hitting that key but now it doesn't do anything.
I tamed the RGB into something that doesn't drive me crazy but perhaps with more messing with, I'll find something that I actually enjoy
There's also the very dangerous itch that I maybe I should have opted for far more clicky switches but I keep telling myself that full travel vs the flat laptop keyboard keys is sooo much better. I mean I'm not trying to re-create a typewriter....
