I have some green extension cords my parents used for Christmas decor in the yard. Checked the label and it says not to use when wet.

Am I over thinking this? Are they okay to use to plug in an inflatable in the yard when it's raining? Or is there a special extension cord I need? Sorry for the probably dumb question.
