AMC just flat out refused to sell me a small popcorn and a medium drink.

I could either get a small drink and a small popcorn or a medium drink and a large popcorn but not a small popcorn and medium drink. Not rung up separately and not in two separate transactions.

Note: there was no line behind me either.
