No. But yes.

Like others have said, Christmas is a central plot point to Die Hard. It's the "reason for the season" and a fundamental point to the entire narrative. Scrubbing all mention of Christmas would fundamentally change the entire movie.
Christmas is merely a bit of background detail and fluff in Lethal Weapon. It's like an extra with no lines at all. You could easily cut out all mentions of Christmas from Lethal Weapon and the movie would barely change at all.
