I'm pro union if workers want it, but it seems only a very small number of people directly employed by Tesla have joined the strike.

The last number I saw reported was around 30 employees out of thousands struck and the main union calling for action, IF Metal, started offering to pay employees more than what they made at Tesla to join the strike.
So call me skeptical that this is an employee led action against Tesla.
