there have been a couple in the last little while, but I don't think this one quite fits either of them. one was a lady in BC getting 'returns'

to her address and getting hit with the customs fees. the original seller used her address to avoid paying said fees.

other one I remember is a guy getting packages with goods plus gift card in them. scammer buys item, offers $X more than it's listed for, but you have to ship them a gift card for $X as well. they give a fake address for shipipng, and put a hold on payment until you give them the gift card details, then empty the gift card, cancel the payment, and ghost. package goes to random address, because the goods were never the point. I think that dude was returning the packages so they'd at least get the goods back.
