I've gotten to be quite the pro with these little pill dispensers.

For poor Roy, his pill is so small it doesn't fit into the pill dispenser, so I just open his mouth, tilt his head back, and put it as far back in his mouth as I can. (Then blow gently on his face so he'll swallow.)

Fortunately, he's pretty docile. I know that wouldn't work for other cats.

Roy takes anxiety medication. My sweet little guy.

That's how I had to do it with our cats but it was always a short term thing, never something we had to do daily for a long peroid. The dog was - oblique Dec 8, 06:16 1
