I don't see how Yamamoto doesn't choose the Dodgers now. They can pay him whatever the asking price, he gets to play with Ohtani, they're a perennial

playoff team and they're on the west coast so his family, friends and fans can more easily watch him play as well as a shorter flight home.

I expect him to sign with the Dodgers now.

I hope the Yankees have backup plans for pitchers because he's not coming here.
