Russia's economy is churning along just fine for the moment. a bit overheated inflation-wise, but weirdly scaling up military production does a

reasonable job of driving industrial growth. sanctions haven't really started biting. they're still raking in the petrodollars, and their Chinese debt is sustainable. Russia's foreign trade reliance on China is smaller than Australia's in GDP terms.
