same and it doesn't detect my external display.

I have a docking station that I use in summer that I brought upstairs for winter and that works fine (it is powered).

I bought a new dongle in case it was my dongle that was dead and it doesn't work either.

I would really like the "less wires" of the dongle. any suggestions as to what the problem might be?
