My daughter had to school me that high refresh rates are only achievable with DisplayPort cables, not HDMI.

THIS. IS. MY. FUCKING. JOB. I did not know this. Furthermore, almost all commercial displays we deal with are *exclusively* HDMI. I'm gonna have to school myself on this rather unusual dichotomy which I get back to work.
