Anyone ever done a chocolate fountain/fondue? Tips? Daughter would love to do that kind of dipping at her 21st tomorrow with friends but not sure

The ones at the wedding buffet are basically chocolate flavored vegetable oil. -- nm

check what the fountains come with. there ought to be some sort of built in heating device. -- nm

I would do fondue given the choice. The fountains are typically more oil than chocolate to keep it flowing. -- nm

this would be my choice also. Just unsure of the heating/chocolate to use. We have a couple of the fondue pots but don't really have the "hot plate"

Yeah you’ll need to keep it warm to get the experience. I don’t think sterno pots are that expensive. -- nm
