But when she says freedom is "bigger than slavery" it's pretty clear she's drawing a distinction between the two.

I mean she's not wrong that it was about the south wanting the freedom to keep slaves, but when she uses words like freedom to describe that it sounds like an endorsement, especially from a person who is generally anti-government.
