There was a WB/Chuck Jones bit.
The Goblins looked like a Time Bandits/Trolls tribute (why they were singing).
I think Mrs. Flood got a ride in the TARDIS between the first time we see her and the last. And/or she's a lookout from UNIT.
And yeah some people's heads are going to explode.
