Yeah. It's a safeguard for us. We could do the long trips. It would just add time so we've chosen convenience because we have the option. The PHEV

works perfectly for her since her commute is all of 2 miles now. I wouldn't mind having a bit more than the 200-ish mile range that I get on average if I was looking to replace this EV. That's more a function of the trips we take and the charger infrastructure. If we could go from Chicago to Indy in one shot consistently (220 miles) that would've made the decision to take the EV every time much easier.
