I earn 15 hrs vacation a month. So even taking a few days off here and there or even a week, I usually will have excess

time at the end of the year. Plus, like I said, any excess rolls to sick, which goes towards retirement at a rate of every 20 days sick equals 1 months service towards retirement. Even when I took 3 weeks off last year for the Bourbon Trail with dad I ended up with over 240 at the end of the year.
But my job is also dumb in that even if I take time off, I still get cases assigned to me and the work piles up because we are short staffed and there is no one to help. They only take you off new case receipts if you are out on medical leave for more than (I think) 1 week, might be 2 weeks.
