Isn't that kind of the point? Aspirational for the resort setting but then seeing the characters suffer?

I don't think there's any lessons to be learned for the actual characters since there's no follow up with the exception of Jennifer Coolidge's Tanya
Though I kind of liked the 'workers' will succeed storyline of the last season
