I'd skip straight to requesting a refund. I had an Etsy purchased delivered, but it had a broken piece...

the seller has already provided a refund, sent me a shipping label, I've dropped it off at UPS, and they acknowledged the return. I reordered it yesterday. All of that happened in the past week. There's no excuse for something not to be delivered by January 5th.
