I thought so at first but that seems to refer to positive/negative curve, which would be like the accumulated box office going down from a peak.

I'm interested in just series graphs where curve is always concave or convex. In the case of box office one axis is time, but this wouldn't be the case in survey data like Causes of Death. In that case you'd have a couple large values for a few items and a lot of items with low values, such as on the linked graph, where the point would be around the Stroke number.
Basically I'm looking for a quick term to say "this is the cutoff point where we're more interested in the tall side vs the shallow side."
