EPL is an enormous jump in quality and money.

I’d think they’d need to make a significantly higher investment in expanding their grounds to even get into the Championship. -- (edited)

They'd be middle of the pack for League 1 and a couple thou shy of the lowest Championship team

salaries is the big jump. They spend 5M a year, League 1 spends about that much, but EFL spends 10-25 (or more if you just got relegated). -- nm

I know they have spending caps within their league level...but I wonder how much their fame here impacts that revenue level.

the hard caps got removed and it's based on a % of income. -- nm
