In response to "Oh, no. It was always fun to have her around. RIP." by Marlowe

very sad news - and thank you for posting this photo (inside)

will share this "Shay Story" from this trip. She was riding shotgun in the Jeep rental I was driving ... I think it may have been coming back from the movie Ready Player One. I had consumed many glasses of champagne during the movie for their "all you can drink" movie ticket where you could just hit a button on your theatre seat tray and they'd bring you another glass. it was a LONG movie and yes - I may have been a bit tipsy.

As we were coming back to the strip something happened (no idea anymore what it was) - but in the front passenger seat - it scared Shay terribly and I couldn't stop laughing as all my experience around her up to that point was how incredibly chill she was ... just cruising along. Once my warped sense of humor passed I struggled to ask her if she was ok and the look of terror was just leaving her face and I kept saying sorry - sorry - sorry as I touched her arm.

I can sort of vividly remember it ... and don't remember who all was riding in the back seat.

Very sad to not be able to see her again and condolences to everyone that is feeling the same loss - likely more as this was my only time meeting her that year.

RIP and you will be missed.
