Range estimates depend on many factors. Most are generated dynamically, but it is car dependent

Not every builder assess all the variables or gives them the same weight as others.

For the most part, "range anxiety" is mostly "it's different, different is scary".

If you regularly drive more than 200 miles a day throughout the year, EVs are going to save you a LOT over gas, but you WILL need to be more range conscious and know where and when to stop to charge.

Under 100 miles a day, and the vast majority of EVs will be fine. There are a few models that have low ranges, but most have more than 200 and many have more than 300.
