No. I live in central Illinois and have driven an EV for almost 6 years. I have worried about range all of 1 time after the car sat out in freezing

Weather after a long drive and wasn't plugged in.
I barely had enough to get home and I drove less than 60mph with the AC off. And that car had no heated steering wheel.
