Conversely if you just wanted to watch football, you can just watch the games live?

I think the success of the series is that it is as much about the town of Wrexham as opposed to just the men's team.
There should have been more episodes about the women's club, not less. They're all local since it's kind of tough to recruit when you're not paying. They were the ones who were more successful and playing for essentially more as their promotion means that they'll actually be professional footballers next year as that league allows for paying players.
