they use the term 'curate' in the article, and i think that depends how it is used. i *guess* i curate my bookshelf? I keep very few books. but -- (edited)

we do still have a shelf in the living room that gets decluttered pretty regularly. All we keep are our absolute favourites, reference books, a few signed versions, etc.
By that definition, i suppose i could say it's curated.
My condo building actually has a library-room, and people bring the books they are done with there and leave them on those shelves and then others can go and grab a book whenever. Most of what we read goes there pretty quickly.
it even has a big comfy chair in it to sit in while you peruse your options.
