yup. which makes it a waste of time and money to install these stupid things cause you don't need a card for optical OR for pharmacy -- nm

In the US you do need it for optical. I had to renew my membership last month to buy my glasses there. -- nm

Yes, you need to be a member to purchase glasses or contacts at Costco Optical centers. However, you do not need to be a member to make an appointment -- nm
