In response to "Related to snowy/bad weather below: ST - what is your worst driving in bad weather story? -- nm" by Beaker 🍺

I'm sure I've shared this before (I have quite a few big driving in snow stories).

In 2017 here in Knoxville, we got a completely unexpected and out of the blue snow. Work waited too long to release us (I left before the official release).

Driving home was terrible. I think we were all at about 5-10 miles per hour. At that time, we lived up at the tip top of a hill. I... did not make it up the hill. I had to park the car at Academy Sports, which was a ways down the hill, and walk the rest of the way UP the hill. It was miserable.

I've also had a pretty terrifying experience driving back from a wedding in snow so significant that I could barely see. And I was driving to Bloomington, IL to visit my parents one Christmas Eve. The snow started pouring down in Indiana and was a full-blown blizzard by the time I got to the exit for their house. The ONLY reason I was able to get off at the exit was that a snowplow was right in front of me and plowed the snow ahead of me.
