A kid in my karate class 30+ years ago… his dad was on a country road and came around a corner where a farm vehicle was.

Like a bailing machine. One of the prongs came through the windshield and pinned him ; cut right under the collarbone as he dove out of the way. Would have gone through his neck otherwise.
He got cut out and basically survived with as little damage as you could have for being impaled.
