act in good faith. Democrats didn't try to impeach GWB after Clinton (even though they arguably could have made a case for lying to get us into a war with Iraq), but see now the republicans with an impeachment inquiry with no evidence and where several republicans who support the inquiry have flat out stated that it's for purely political purposes. The loss of shared values and respect for the institutions and value of stability for a shared goal (by one side) is what's different. And the actual correct result is to enforce those laws to put guard rails up. Yet certainly if a republican wins the presidency any time soon, Trump will have foretold and directed that there will likely be retribution from the fascists.
