Well, it isn't a straight up movie version of the musical. There are a couple songs missing (It Roars, Stop, Whose House is This?, Fearless, -- (edited)

More Is Better, Do This Thing). EDIT: They also changed some lyrics and while I get why, it is also jarring when you're expecting one thing and hear another. Some of the missing songs they thematically cover in the dialog/plot but others are just absent. Some of the stylistic things they did felt a little off to me
- Apex Predator they have the background dancers acting like animals (crawling around on the ground, etc.). I get it but I'd rather have seen them acting like students.
- More Is Better is one of my favorite songs as I love the wordplay. They used much of the lyrics directly in the dialog but left out the parts I loved them most :)
- Revenge Party was all confetti and streamers in the hall of the school. Felt like that should've been darker
It's all little things. I think someone seeing the movie for the first time would love the music and then love the musical even more. I wanted something more Hamilton/Come From Away I guess
