I was looking at my port the other day and trying to figure out why I had an odd share count in one holding.

Eventually I figured out that the last time I submitted an purchase order, I forgot to update the share count in the tool. I meant to buy 100 shares. I actually bought 1.

(Actually I'm a little surprised the tool doesn't default to 0 shares to prevent this sort of mistake, but c'est la vie.)
