I was in the LA area, not going to the Olympics

My aunt who was living in Marina Del Rey arranged for my family to come down for a week or so.
My brother and mom and I came down ahead of my dad and my aunt put us on bus tours so that was the first time I went to the Hollywood Bowl...in the middle of the day...no show but venue tour. Might be the only time in my life that I'll ever be into pool seats.
Went to Marine Land which doesn't exist anymore. Scariest bus ride I can remember as it looked like the bus wasn't even on the road, just cliff and water below.
Wax Museum, Knotts
Dad arrived and we went to Disneyland which was probably the greatest Disneyland days / nights ever with regards to lack of crowds. I remember that we rode Matterhorn like 10 times in a row with more time spent walking from the exit of one side of the mountain and then getting in line for the other than we spent waiting in line
We did watch some of the Olympics stuff on TV like the opening ceremony.
