My SIL was surprised to learn when she moved here that she can't get green or red chili peppers like she did at home in NM. -- (edited)

They roast them all over and they love them. It's just not a thing here or I'm guessing many other places. We also don't usually have that white gravy people like. You'd have to go to a place that makes southern food to find that.
