IMO, the writing is more relevant to this film than direction is.

Robbie, well, I prefer the other 3 nominated performances I saw. I like hers enough, it's a great comedic performance, but I'm not sure it breaches the top 5 to me.
Also, I love how people say "the Oscars" as it is by itself a sapient entity. Maybe those nominating are being artistically honest in who they pick. Maybe it is sexism, but you don't give a nom to Triet if that's the case.
