~40% of americans think we’re in a recession. that’s lower than it was, and I don’t want to be negative; but that doesn’t include a lot more who know

we aren’t but still are feeling negative impact on their personal finances.
the linked op piece addresses some of it but misses that there are a lot of people who don’t have the ability to just get used to higher priced thing, more that are able to absorb but aren’t happy about it - and whoever’s president gets a connection because humans.
I keep saying “it’s the personal economy, stupid” because I have fear that the big need to get as many people as possible to vote for Biden is going to be impacted by that, along with at least thinking about u.s. funding for israel support (even if the % is what it is); and they’re not happy with Biden as a choice and somehow not sufficiently anti-Trump at least. I know social media isn’t always indicative of the country at large, but seeing many liberal folks saying bad things about Biden is happening, can’t ignore that.
