of course, I was teasing; but seriously, I’ve learned over the years that I have to ask specifics to nudge or I end up being one of those. I have

probably mentioned at some point that I had a coworker who commiserated with me - he said every group needs a rudder, and we had been it. it stinks that it can fall to the same person to be that or else no reservations get made/no plans are, well, planned. If everyone agrees to do things casually, for better or worse, alright; but a lot of times, it doesn’t go so well for entire trips.
I finally told my bff that I needed her to take a more active role when we were meeting up for a vacation because my vacations ended up feeling like just more work. thankfully she got that! (I so miss travel, at least the good kind.)
